Nokia N8 Reviewed in Russian, Still Not Worth It

Posted on April 25th, by Evan Selleck in archive. No Comments

Well, while the Nokia N8 has been popping up every once in awhile, it looks like the fine folks over across the pond at Mobile Review have managed to get their hands on the still unreleased device. And, while they happened to get some in-depth time, they didn’t come off all that pleased with the results. Sadly, it doesn’t look like Nokia strayed too far from trampled ground.

The handset is the first to rock Nokia’s upcoming Symbian^3 mobile Operating System, and unfortunately it doesn’t look like the OS jumps too far off the tracks. According to the site, Symbian^3 just feels like a “more polished” version of what we’ve known in the past, and doesn’t come close to what the iPhone OS or even Android OS are currently offering. That’s not good.

While we’re leaving a lot to be desired here, considering we haven’t had a chance to play with it, but from this review, we’re not really looking forward to it anymore. We’re being judgmental, and we know that, but so far Mobile Review hasn’t been all that wrong in the past. We’ll save final word until we can get some face time with it ourselves, but for now, we’re wary.
