Huawei Technologies has launched the E180 USB stick last week. The 10mm thick E180 is a highly compact device supporting the complete range of HSPA/UMTS and GSM/GPRS/EDGE network technologies, allowing fast uplink speed rates of up to 5.76Mbps and a downlink of up to 7.2 Mbps. It will be available globally in the second half of June 2008.

Equipped with a rotatable USB connector and compatible with Microsoft Windows (2000/Vista/XP) and Mac OSX, the Huawei E180 is a real plug-and-play device for mobile broadband users. The E180 is designed with a ultra slim rotatable USB connector, which can be turned by 270 degrees.
Other than the wireless network connection feature, it has also a built-in MicroSD card slot which supports up to 8GB memory card, eliminating the need for an additional USB memory stick. In addition, the device supports various useful services like SMS/MMS, PC voice, phone book, flow display and statistics.

Available in the second half of June 2008, the Huawei E180 will be launched to a global market including Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East, North America and South Africa.
