Fring has just released a new 3.35 version for S60 phones. fring is a free, downloadable mobile phone application enabling free mVoIP (mobile VoIP) calls, real-time presence and live chat with multiple IM providers. fring users or “fringsters” mVoIP communicate with other fring users, landline or cellular phones using SkypeOut and SIP providers as well as PC contacts through Skype, Google Talk, MSN Messenger, Twitter and ICQ, all through one integrated contact list.

See below for the change log:

  • Improved stability - with significantly less interruption, logouts, etc
  • Made voice quality even better all round
  • Added speakerphone for Symbian 9.2 (Not sure which Symbian you are?)
  • Enabled file transfer from Yahoo! & Skype so you can now swap music, pics & vids over WiFi or 3G from mobile to mobile and mobile to PC! Its quick, reliable and of course free! No need for MMS, cable, Bluetooth or Infrared.

The easiest way to update your fring version is to point your mobile internet WAP browser at www.fring.com and download fring directly to your mobile.
