Namco Networks to Offer Pac Man Games for Android Phone

Namco Networks today announced the availability of the arcade classic PAC-MAN on the Android-powered device. When the T-Mobile G1 launches, PAC-MAN will be available to consumers in the Android Market at no charge.

Taking advantage of the device’s large screen, PAC-MAN on the T-Mobile G1 includes three unique control schemes:

  • Swipe Mode allows players to direct PAC-MAN’s path by simply swiping in the direction you want to travel.
  • Track Mode lets players zip through mazes using the phone’s trackball.
  • Accelerometer Mode allows players to control PAC-MAN by tilting the phone in the direction they want to move.

    I have the new g1 and have been looking for pac man in the market but have not found it there. I have found someone in t-mobile store that does have it on there g1. Could you please tell me where to download it from for my g1.

    Hello Namco…while u have pacman on the tmobile g1 I love it…but I was wondering when or if ya’ll were considering putting ms.pacman on the g1? If ya’ll do I promise you that ms. pacman will have more downloads than pacman…plz consider it…its a classic that we would love to have….Thanx…
