Motorola ZN200 Announced for Brazil- Together with other new Moto phones

Motorola has recently unveiled the upcoming handsets planned to be released in Brazil, the largest South American mobile market (more than 128 million mobile users). All of these Moto phones have already been announced for Europe, except for the ZN200, a new slider from Motorola’s ZN family.
Motorola ZN200 is a mid-end device that doesn’t look bad at all and brings the following features: GSM and 3G connectivity, a 2 Megapixel camera with video, photo editor, stereo Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, Music player, FM radio, Crystal Talk technology, Web and email capabilities, USB, 30MB of internal memory and a 1GB card included in the package. The size and resolution of the handset’s display are not known, but this seems a 2 (or maybe 2.2) inch one, most probably with 240 x 320 pixels.

Motorola ZN200 will be sold for a retail price of 499 reais, the equivalent of $310 or 200 Euros. The slider will be commercially available starting September, in two colors: pink and black.

The other ZN Moto, namely the 5 Megapixel ZN5 candybar, will also be released in Brazil, but starting August, for a retail price of 1,199 reais ($750). The higher price is somehow justified by the fact that, besides a 5 Megapixel camera with Kodak lens, auto focus and flash, the phone also features: a touch-sensitive keypad, Wi-Fi, TV out, full HTML browser, a 2.4 inch TFT display, Media player with lots of formats supported, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth and USB.

Z10 is another high-end Motorola set to attract Brazilian users. Coming in a slider form factor, the Z10 features a 2.2 inch scratch resistant display with 16 million colors and 240 x 320 pixels, a 3.15 Megapixel camera, 3G, Symbian UIQ 3.2, Music and Video players, Web and email capabilities, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and expandable memory (up to 32GB). Moto Z10 will be available starting August, for a hefty retail price of 1,299 reais ($810).

Besides the already mentioned handsets, Motorola will also release, in Brazil, a MotoRazr V9 Special Edition and several entry-level devices, like W180, W231 and W396.

There’s no word yet on the launch of ZN200 on other markets, but Moto will probably want to make it available in Asia, Europe and the US too.
