If you’re up in Canada, the selection of Android-based handsets is getting pretty ridiculous. But, options are always a good thing. And, if you find yourself on the Rogers wireless network, looking for a new handset, you may want to wait just a little bit longer. Until the end of next week, in fact. Because that’s when they’ll be launching the Motorola QUENCH.

It’s a MOTOBLUR device, which means that if you take your social networking seriously, this will be the perfect device for you. If you hadn’t already gone into your local Best Buy to pre-order your QUENCH, we imagine that the lines won’t be that bad, so you should probably just be able to walk in and get yours when you decide to pull the trigger.
The device will go for $424.99 without a contract, but obviously you’ll want to sign your life away for three years so you can get your subsidized pricing. That will cost you only $49.99, and it will get you a device with a 3.1-inch touchscreen, a 5MP camera, and 2GB of memory thanks to a MicroSD card (which can be expanded to 32GB). It also has WiFi, just in case those 7.2Mbps weren’t fast enough for you.
