MetroPCS and Samsung today launched the Samsung Code (SCH-i220), powered by the older Windows Mobile 6.1 instead of an updated Windows Mobile 6.5. This is still the company’s first Windows Mobile 6.1 though. The Samsung Code supports 3G data connection, comes with build in bluetooth, 2 megapixel camera, microSD card slot and a hardware QWERTY keyboard.

Other than the usual Windows Mobile 6.1 home screen, there is an optional WizPro interface for customization on the home screen and creating shortcuts to the most frequently used features on the phone, including missed messages, calendar appointments and more.
