MessageSling today announced a new voice messaging solution that allows consumers to receive and send voice and dictated text messages using simple voice commands. Freeing people from the restrictions of traditional voicemail, MessageSling’s voice-activated service allows drivers to keep their hands on the wheel while staying on top of their messages.

Unlike traditional voicemail, MessageSling’s voice-activated service allows users to send, reply and forward voice and dictated text messages. MessageSling’s voice-activated service brings together the most integrated solution of features including custom greetings, unlimited voicemail and contact storage, voicemail transcriptions and immediate access to messages through phone, email, SMS and online options.

A basic MessageSling service without transcriptions and hands-free features is free. MessageSling is currently in beta with general availability planned in early 2009.
