My screen stopped working too like a year ago. I scoured the internet and found that its because the plastic is pushing in one specific spot ALL the time. Do you see what seems to be gel under the screen? I found a great fix, but USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Grab a razor blade and gently go around the entire screen (between the phone and the clear plastic screen). You will hear the screen pop up kinda, and hopefully will be able to use your touch screen again! Now, I wouldn't go balls to the wall first time. Gently try it, and do it over and over that way until it starts working.

If its not acting like one spot on the screen is being pushed all the time, you may just have a bad screen. HOPE THIS HELPS!

I have had the instinct for over 2 years and I really hate it. There is some bug that when I push my first contact in my quick call list, that instead of calling them, it takes me to my complete contact list and whichever contact gets pushed, replaces my contact on my quick call list. I have given up trying to keep the first caller in my contact list.

When you are talking on the phone and it is time to hang up, you normally slide the hangup button. If the user on the other end hangs up first, your hangup button gets replaced with the redial button, and so you accidentally redial the person instead.

If someone calls and leaves a message while you are using your phone for other purposes, perhaps making a call out, your phone freezes for about 45 seconds before you can do anything like finish making the call.

The GPS doesn't work out of the Sprint network. and when you are in the Sprint network, it takes forever for the map to show up. If you enter an address to go to, and you hit submit, if the GPS doesn't work because of some error, you have to enter the address all over again and it is not saved.

I could go on and on with the freezing, accidental dialing, and apps that don't work properly, but I will let my money to the talking and buy something else next time.

Yeah. I'm sick of instinct from sprint too. I will change to iphone or tmobile when contract runs out. javascript is enabled in my settings but i can't even view my pictures on sprint.com because it stops and says i don't have it enabled. how ironic. people are so dishonest these days. they'll promise u anything to get u to sign the contract and get u locked in to paying for what u don't really want. no more comtracts for me. even if it costs more, i am not signing one.

I've had my Instinct for over 2 years and I hate it!!! They promised me that there was going to be an app store, they scratched that plan. They also said it would rival the iPhone. Yeah right! Rival it in what? Looks? It freezes, the browser sucks so bad I'm paying good money for unlimited data and don't even use it. I pretty much have a fancy phone that I can check sports scores on (when the network isn't busy which is rare). I hate it, hate it, hate it!!!

My contract with Sprint ends in 2 months and I'm going to switch to another carrier that offers the iPhone. Then I'm going to take the brick that is the Instinct and throw it at the first Sprint store I pass.

What an astronomical waste of technology!!!
