First announced in Korea as LG Star, LG is delivering its first dual core CPU smartphone to the world as LG Optimus 2X. The dual core smartphone is powered by the Tegra 2 processor, offering 1GHz clock speed, 4-inch display, HDMI connector, 1080p HD video playback, DLNA support and running with Android 2.2 Froyo.
With a powerful CPU, the smartphone uses a 1500mAh battery to provide a longer battery life. It also comes with a micro USB port, microSDHC card slot and accelerometer. The Optimus 2X will be first sold in Korea next month, follow by countries in Europe and Asia. No words on whether it will reach US region at the moment.
