Latest Windows Mobile 6.5 Prototype Got Some Finger-Friendly Funs

In terms of touch user interface, Windows Mobile has been lagging behind iPhone OS, Android or even the Palm’s webOS. The latest Windows Mobile 6.5 build 23022/23025 is showing some changes on the traditional Windows Mobile user interface. Other than making the menu larger for touching, the company has finally got an idea to bring the OK/Close button from top right to bottom, placed on a floating bar. Few ROM cookers are building this version on various smartphons in xda-developers forum, though, it looks like this build could be just a test version and not stable enough for normal users.

I have this rom cooked into my touch diamond and I have to say that it looks very promising.
But… there are so many bugs, that it’s not good enough for daily use.
I guess we’ll have to wate for a better stable version.
