With the Windows Mobile 6.5 officially available from October 6th, HTC today announces a new Windows Phone called HTC Touch2 powered by Windows Mobile 6.5. It will also be available from October 6th, though it is not sure which region will get the Touch2 first.

Other than the new Windows Mobile 6.5 that comes with My Phone Service and Windows Marketplace, the HTC Touch2 is using the TouchFLO 3D user interface. The TouchFLO 3D could be a newer version with few UI updates and enhancement.
“The HTC Touch2 delivers a familiar touch experience that millions of people have come to expect and rely on from HTC in their daily lives,” said Peter Chou, Chief Executive Officer, HTC Corporation. “Whether it’s making a call, checking in with a friend or simply responding to an important email, the HTC Touch2 puts you in touch and in control.”
