This one isn’t going to be the normal type post, because truth be told, you’ve probably heard enough about the specifications of the HD2. And if not, then head over here and check out our review of the device. Once you get caught up, we’ll pleasantly remind you that the HD2 went on sale on March 24th, and subsequently sold out. And then it came back online, back on the market, if you will, but it looks like that didn’t last long at all (again).

We’re hearing reports that the HD2 is sold out again, and right now, T-Mobile USA doesn’t know when stock will be back in a position of any worth. We’re seriously shocked at this. We know the device is easily the best Windows Mobile handset available, and yes, the physical manufacturing of the handset is beyond compare (kind of), but this is blowing our minds. Sold out, twice, in less than two weeks. That’s impressive, no matter how you shake a stick at it.

Here’s a quote from a T-Mobile USA representative about the existence of the HD2:

The HD2 has been very popular and is currently sold out in many locations. We are working as quickly as we can to secure additional inventory. We will post updates here on when additional inventory will be available.

Some Retail stores may still have inventory. If you live near a T-Mobile location, you can contact them to see if they have inventory remaining.Click here for a list of T-Mobile locations. We suggest you contact stores via phone before visiting to see if they have inventory on hand. If they do not have inventory, they should be able to take your name and notify you when they have stock in stores.
