Google Nexus One No Longer Getting Support for 3G Issues

If you were one of the lucky ones to get your hands on Google’s Nexus One back in January, or somewhere near there, then you might have also been one of the unlucky ones to experience the spotty 3G coverage the phone had. It wasn’t necessarily a widespread issue, but it happened to enough people out there to make it a big enough problem for Google to check out. But, all that is about to come to an end.

According to a Google spokesperson speaking on the Nexus One forums, the company is going to continue to monitor feedback regarding the spotty 3G reception, but they’ve got no plans to further investigate any engineering solutions. So, basically, you’re going to have to live with it.

But, don’t fret. They did offer one more solution, before they parted ways from the problem entirely: try changing your location, or even the orientation of your phone. Yes, you read that correctly. Google suggests you move, or simply hold the phone differently. Like, upside down or something. We’re not exactly sure those “fixes” will actually fix anything, but it’s better than nothing, right? Oh, wait…
