How to Make Nokia 5800’s Battery Last as Long as Possible

As we all know that Nokia 5800 have big battery with it. But with few tips you can keep it for longer time without charging. The battery is charging when the battery icon’s bar chart (in the top right corner of the screen) is animated. When the battery is full, the bar chart is full and has stopped moving. If you want to make sure the battery is full, wait for the animation to stop moving before you disconnect the charger.

-Always charge your battery to full mark.
-Don't switch off your phone
-shut down unnecessary applications
-Turn down the 5800's screen brightness to the lowest acceptable level
-Use headphones instead of speakers
-Avoid using flash unnecessary
-Use 2G instead of 3G
-Use Offline Mode (aka Flight Mode)
-Switch off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

Keep these important points in mind and squeeze more from your mobile battery.

Comparing battery life to others is a bit tricky since we all have different usage patterns.
I hardly ever use mine for phone calls so most of the usage comes from web surfing, reading saved RSS feeds – which is a battery killer since the backlight is constantly on – and checking my tech feeds on twitter.
That being said, my Moto Q9h will last me from 8am to 11pm on average.

These tips not only apply to 5800, I guess they apply to all phones. But sometimes we don't need to do all those just to have a long battery life, convenience is what we go for.

And deep discharging is very harmful for lithium ion battery. The battery can be longer if you charge it regularly. And every time finish the charge when it shows the charging is over.

"My Nokia 5800 Xpress Music takes me into an express way that has no speed limits and I keep riding and riding with no fear of being fined. Its really a machine worth having and I would recommend it to anyone thats interested in acquiring a mobile technology that separates the new school from the old school. Its a great fun to hold.

Forget about the feminine look and the designs. Its absolutely rogged and value for money.

Cheers."
