Post CeBIT 2005: Siemens Future Mobile Phone with Laser Projection Display

Siemens has a mobile phone with laser projection. The virtual screen can display information, though it is only single color at the mean time. The mobile phone comes with a special "pen" for you to write on the virtual screen. According to Gizmodo, siemens' engineer are planning to have a colorful virtual screen in the future. Pictures that are too small and connections that are too slow—two reasons why Internet and multimedia applications for cell phones have yet to take off. GPRS and the new UMTS networks will increase data transfer rates, thus making cell phones suitable for videos. But the question is: which display best serves the depiction of multimedia content?

The mobile phone has really great facility having a pen for writting on virtual screen and the laser protection is the main attraction of this phone.
