Watching the progress with the Ipaq 6940 (6915) now for month, still no price and delivery for the US. It seems we have to go to Europe to get it sooner or buy an alternative. The best price found until today was below $ 600.0 but delivery in about a month.

Still searching, the only information found is that it seems HP has delayed all deliveries until May. Does anyone now where and when it will be available?

I'm looking for this ipaq. I live in Africa and want an unlocked 6940. where can I buy it??? Currently have the 6315 and want to upgrade. I don't care about the waiting period.

I am planning to buy an Ipaq either hx2490 or 2470. But I was not able to make out weather we can use it as a MOBILE PHONE.

Still doing my research. It seem an unlocked unit 6915 (6940) will be available in England and Germany within 10 days. Price willbe approx. $ 650.00 without shipping.

March is gone, April is gone and it seems May will be gone too until the 69xx is available. There are some preorder offers with prices above $ 800.00, which is just not right and fair, the 6900 is available in June in Europe, Germany for below $ 600.00 without VAT and shipping

The latest I learned is that June 2. 2006 in Europe the Ipaq 6915 will be availalbe for about $ 650.00. In the uS we will have to wait at least 90dyas more. Some how I wonder why HP takes this long to come to market.It does not make sense.

The Ipaq's should become available in the coming week, England and Germany confirmed. In the uS we expect the first Ipaq's in late July, eventually with Cingular. Be carefull where you order they are Scams out of Africa, Nigeria and others. The keyboard layout can be different depending on the country. Good Luck hunting.
