Acer Officially Announced The Liquid E2

Acer has officially announced their upcoming android smartphone. The device will be known as the Liquid E2. It is the first quad-core smartphone from Acer to feature optional dual SIM card slots.

The Liquid E2 operates on HSPA+ networks at up to 42 Mbps. It packed with a 4.5-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen, a two-megapixel front camera, and an 8-megapixel rear camera promising a zero shutter delay. Also, there’s Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an FM receiver, GPS, and a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Not only that, you will be able to enjoy an accelerometer, and e-commerce, light sensors, proximity sensor, dual front stereo speakers, and a 3.5 mm audio Jack.

The handset will be available in Belgium, Netherlands, Ukraine, France, Spain, UK, Italy, Germany, and Russia in the middle of May starting at €229.

Samsung Galaxy S 4 Will Be Shipped Early Via AT&T

Those who have been waiting for the new Galaxy flagship from AT&T. The device would be shipped earlier than what has been schedule. The Samsung Galaxy S 4 will be shipped on the 24th and most of the recipients would be able to get them on the 25th.

Also, AT&T has stated that the Samsung GALAXY S 4 will be available in select stores starting on April 27th. The device will cost $199 for the 16GB model, and $250 for the 32GB storage in White or Black. It packed with a 4.99-inch 1080p HD display, quad-core power, 2GB of RAM, and that impressive 13 megapixel camera.

AT&T LG Escape Getting Jelly Bean Update

LG Escape hit AT&T back in September 2012. At that time, the device launched with Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Finally, those who has been waiting for an update on the LG Escape can finally enjoy it.

The update is arriving as Android 4.1 and will be available over-the-air. In order to get the update, we recommend you to be connected to Wi-Fi and then navigate to Menu -> Settings -> General -> About phone -> Software Update -> Update. Now, you can at last enjoy the Jelly Bean OS.

HTC One To Be Available On April 24 Via T-Mobile

Previously, Best Buy had us believe the HTC One would launch on April 19th. However, it appears that Best Buy has posted the details a head of what has been schedule. As a matter of facts, the HTC One would be available on April 24th.

The news comes directly from T-Mobile internal memo, which stated that the HTC One would be launch on April 24th not the 19th. The memo has the handset as coming to “select retail and branded locations” on that date. The device will be available via T-Mobile with a downpayment $99 with 24 payments of $20. Meanwhile, the unlocked version would cost you $249.99 for the 32GB model.

HTC’s First Facebook Smartphone Coming To AT&T

We have assume that AT&T would add either Galaxy 4 or HTC One to be there next flagship. However, that won’t be the case. AT&T had decided to picked up HTC’s first Facebook smartphone.

Claudia Knop, AT&T spokesperson stated that the HTC First will be the carriers ” flagship smartphone for the spring.” The device will hit AT&T store on April 12th. Priced at $99 on a two years contract.

ASUS FonePad Coming To UK On April 26th

During the Mobile World Congress 2013, ASUS revealed the FonePad. Since then, there’s not much info on the device itself. And now, the device will be available in UK. The 7-inch tablet packed with an Intel processor, and doubles as a smartphone is up for pre-order this Friday.

The ASUS FonePad priced at £179.99. It will hit the store on April 26th but as for now you can pre-order the device. The handset features a 7-inch 1280 x 800 resolution display and a single-core 1.2 GHz Intel ATOM processor and 1GB of RAM. There’s also a 16GB of internal storage, micro-SD support, and of course can make phone calls.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Found At Office Depot

Samsung hasn’t officially announced their newest tablet, none other than the Galaxy Note 8.0. However, for some reason, the tablet was spotted at Office Depot for quite high price. The Galaxy Note 8.0 has made its entrance in UK but as for US release, we have only a leaks suggesting an April release.

The tablet was shown back in Mobile World Congress. Samsung designed the 8-inch tablet featuring their S-Pen stylus.

According to the leak, the Office Depot has the slate online listed as coming soon at $399 for the 16GB model. The table is packed with an 8-inch 1280 x 800 HD display, Samsung 1.6 GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM, it runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

T-Mobile Getting Sony Xperia Z

According to the folks from AndroidCommunity, T-Mobile will be getting a new Sony smartphone. As of now, the device is in a testing period with T-Mobile. The handset is non-other than the Sony Xperia Z.

Another sources came from the TmoNews. They have confirmed the news through three different sources. However, those sources have said the Xperia Z is being tested instead of being release. Nevertheless, if this is true and if the test goes well then Sony and T-Mobile would immediately release the device anytime soon.

The Xperia Z will be shipped with Android Jelly Bean OS. It features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080) display, quad-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 2 megapixel front-facing camera and 13 megapixel rear-facing camera. The handset will hold up against water up to 30 minutes.

HTC’s First Facebook Smartphone Comes In 4 Colors

We have been hearing quite an amount of news regarding HTC’s First Facebook smartphone. HTC and Facebook will be announcing the device tomorrow through a press conference. However, it appears that someone has decided to spill the beans and let the rest of the world know what was coming ahead.

According to the leaked, the device is coming in four different colors. Those are black, white, red, and a light blue. So far, we have known that the device will packed with HTC Myst on AT&T with 4G LTE, 4.3-inch 720p HD display, Dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, 5 megapixel rear, 1.6 front camera, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean covered in Facebook, Sense UI 4.5 (not new Sense like the One), WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and more.
