Hundreds of millions of mobile phone owners can now take advantage of email on-the-move as emoze launches the world’s first push mobile email solution for Java handsets. Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola and Samsung users will be able to get emoze push mail on their handsets. The deployment will be in stages; Nokia Series40 handsets will be the first to be added, followed shortly after by the rest.

Using new, state-of-the-art SUN technology, all the whiz-bangs, swivel screens, colors and graphics offered by the user’s favorite mobile device, are heightened with emoze technology, ensuring a smooth transition from desktop to mobile. emoze’s Java client supports a range of personal and corporate data sources including Microsoft Exchange (Outlook), POP3/IMAP servers, as well as Web mail servers like Gmail.
