Droid Incredible to Support 802.11 b/g/n WiFi?
We know that typos happen. Sometimes there’s just no way around it. And, perhaps we’re a bit of a stickler when it comes to the details, but we’re of the mind that something as important as b/g/(and)n WiFi is something you might want to tell folks. That is, if the device really can support it. We know you haven’t forgotten that the Droid Incredible by HTC was just officially announced, but maybe you didn’t give the press release much of a stare down. Well, thankfully, we did.

We’ve just come across a very interesting document. It’s of a Verizon Wireless InfoCenter screen grab, and as you can see, it’s the same specs sheet that we’ve seen before, and which has been subsequently confirmed by Verizon today. But, if you look close enough, there’s a difference. At the very bottom, on both documents in fact, you’ll see that WiFi 802.11 b/g is to be supported courtesy of the official release. However, in InfoCenter, it shows: WiFi 802.11 b/g/n.
No, this isn’t groundbreaking, but if it does pan out that InfoCenter is correct, there will be plenty of happy individuals out there. And, on top of that, it is just one more reason why the Incredible has a leg up on the competition. We’ll keep you updated if we hear anymore details, but take this with a grain of salt. Typos happen, remember.
