The Droid and the Droid 2 are the only Verizon’s handset that runs on Froyo. Meanwhile, the Droid X and the Droid Incredible still had to wait a little longer. Fortunately, the Droid Incredible users long waited will be pay off very soon.
According to Mashable, the Droid Incredible will received Android 2.2 (Froyo) update on August 18th. Also, there are multiple sources who have stated that Verizon’s employees had already ran Android 2.2 (Froyo) on their handset. This meant that the updated is not just a mere rumor but a serious matter.
