Qualcomm today announced that it has completed the world's first data call using High-Speed Packet Access Plus (HSPA+) network technology. The call achieved a data transfer rate of more than 20 Mbps in a 5 MHz channel. Google has just released an updated version of their Google Maps for mobile to version 2.2. The version 2.2 is available for Symbian S60 (3rd edition or later) and Windows Mobile (2005 or later).
