   A clone that costs $405 more than the iPhone 3G with no multi-touch, screen that looks like plastic, power hungry (talk time on iphone is 10 hrs/5 hrs 3G), windblowz mobile instead of OSX, no safari, no itunes… no thanks, I’ll stick with the real thing

   That reported cost is UNLOCKED and WITHOUT a contract. The cost you are thinking of with the iphone is with a 2 year contract. You can expect to pay about the same for both phones if you get a contract discount.

    Anyone know how to change the video recording format?
    Its currently in Mpeg, which Blip.tv can’t convert to flash for me. I’ve had success with their 3gp converter before
