Bubble Motion today announced that its service, BubbleTALK, has won the Gold Star Mobile Star Award from MobileVillage for Best Consumer Messaging Service. “The Mobile Star Award confirms Bubble Motion’s position as the global leader in Voice SMS,” said Thomas Clayton, CEO of Bubble Motion.
BubbleTALK is a voice-SMS service that allows the user to send short voice messages directly to the receiver’s handset. The recipient instantly receives a notification which prompts them to listen, reply, forward or save the message.
The company is funded by Sequoia Capital, Comcast Interactive Capital and prominent angel investors. The company is headquartered in Mountain View, California, and has additional offices in Singapore, Shanghai, Madrid, London, Rome, Stockholm, Helsinki, New Delhi, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.
