blacksn0w Released On Cydia for iPhone Unlock

If you are stuck with iPhone 3G or 3GS with baseband 05.11.07 unlock, Geohot has released his blacksn0w tool to unlock your iPhone. You will also need blackra1n to jailbreak your iPhone first before you can install the blacksn0w.

blackra1n RC3 is also live for both Windows and Mac!!! Clean firmware 3.1.2 and baseband 05.11.07 are recommended.

It appears some users are having wifi issues. Try a “Reset Network Settings” Also, this just enables custom MobileConfig files. To fully enable tethering, go here on your iPhone and download a MobileConfig file for your carrier. Watch out for carrier fees for tethering.

    Probably most of the phones brought into Apple that are messed up are from people trying to “jailbreak” their iPhones with stuff like this. Just a side note to this post.

    My ipod device 1G is a most important iPod, Pda and way more, and has been since I received it. It continues to work on the latest iPod system software, and any iphone app I might want it to operate. I’m using it to leave this remark at this moment. I would say it’s a much more than simply just an “excellent hobbyist system” — it really is an excellent iPod
