Bell today announced the introduction of Rollover Minutes plans, which will allow their subscribers to carry over unused local voice minutes into their next month of service. Available today, the six new Rollover Minutes rate plans from Bell Mobility recognize that some mobile phone and smartphone users may have too many or too few calling minutes to meet their needs in a particular month.

“With Rollover Minutes, you no longer have to use ‘em or lose ‘em. If you undertalk one month, you can overtalk the next,” said Wade Oosterman, President of Bell Mobility and Chief Brand Officer with Bell Canada.

Rollover Minutes plans let you carry over unused local airtime voice minutes for one additional month. For instance, if your Rollover Minutes plan includes up to 400 anytime local minutes per month and you use only 330, you carry over 70 minutes to the next month – a total of 470 minutes in the next month. The approach helps clients balance high and low usage months and avoid additional per-minute charges.
