Apple retail shop in US has started to sell contract free iPhone 3G this week. The iPhone 3G is being offered at $599 for the 8GB version, and $699 for the 16GB version. Is this a clue of clearing stocks for the upcoming new iPhone 2009? Activation of the iPhone 3G can be done directly from the iTunes at home.
