Apple Online Store Hong Kong Sells Unlocked iPhone 3G

Apple online store in Hong Kong now start to sell unlocked iPhone 3G directly to consumer. According to the product description, the iPhone 3G can be activated with any wireless carrier through iTunes 8. The 8GB iPhone 3G and 16GB iPhone 3G are being sold at 700 USD and 800 USD.

In some countries, for example Singapore, iPhone 3G are sold in unlocked version by the local service provider. Consumer are buying with service contract to bring down the iPhone 3G pricing.
