Android Phone With Disney Theme Heading to Japan

We have heard Disney have decided on bringing their cell phone plan for US in 2007. But, they change their mind and rather heading to Japanese market. Since the Japanese favor Disney characters and would love to have them on their device.

It appears the device is a Sharp Galapagos 003SH. The device will runs Android 2.2 (Froyo). It will be packed with exclusive Disney features such as wallpapers, widgets, and applications. The device will have a 3.8-inch touchscreen, no-glasses 3D, 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, and a 9.6MP camera.

Disney are planning to launch the device next month. As for the pricing, there’s yet to be announce. The customers will received an exclusive @disney.ne.jp email address and free Disney phone case as it shown below.
