Android Hacked to Run on iPhone [Video]

If you have a windows mobile smartphone, you would probably have tried to run Android OS made by people on xda-developers forum. The Android is now being brought to iPhone hardware too. linuxoniphone blog has published a demonstration video, including a preliminary release of its Android installation file for trying. Currently, it will only work on first gen of the iPhone. The author comments that it should be fairly simply to port over to iPhone 3G, while the iPhone 3GS will required more efforts.

To activate the Android, you would have to power off your iPhone and switch back on. A boot up selection screen (called iBoot) will allow you to choose normal booting iPhone OS up or Android OS. Check out the demonstration video below:
