Alltel Wireless today launches the LG Banter, featuring a full sliding QWERTY keyboard for fast and easy texting and a chat-style messaging interface. The messaging phone is preloaded with Alltel Email, Yahoo! IM and AOL IM and comes with changeable faceplates, allowing customers to express themselves with blue or silver color plates. In addition, the LG Banter offers a 1.3MP camera, an integrated MP3 player, Bluetooth Wireless Technology, applications including solitaire and Alltel Navigation preloaded, and a MicroSD expandable memory slot. The LG Banter is available at $19.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate with two-year service agreement.
