With the purchase of E-TEM Corporation in last year, Acer is to rebrand the Glofiish DX900 as Acer DX900, a move to use Acer as its main smartphone branding. It is not sure if Acer will take this as one of the new smartphone line up for its coming Mobile World Congress 2009 announcement, the dual sim capable DX900 is already available in some regions and will be available in UK by end February.

The Acer DX900 features support for both high-speed 3.5G (UMTS/HSDPA) and 2G (GSM/EDGE) communications, as well as GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity, a high-resolution VGA display, and a 3-megapixel auto-focus camera.
