O2 has announced the HTC HD2, which will land in UK today and available for free on certain O2 Pay Monthly plan. The HD2 packs in a massive 4.3-inch touch screen, fast processor and camera with LED flash into a package just 11mm thick and weighing in at 157 grams.

China Mobile will soon become the first mobile operator to sell the Mini 3i OPhone, comes with a 3.5-inch touch screen and 640 x 360 resolution. The Mini 3i runs China Mobile’s OPhone open source platform, and pre-loaded with softwares like 139Mail e-mail, Fetion chat and digital maps for navigation. It should be available in China by the end of November.

TomTom's latest version of the TomTom app for iPhone and iPod touch (version 1.2) can be purchased on the App Store this month. The new version will also be made available for free to existing TomTom app for iPhone customers. The TomTom app for iPhone and iPod touch including maps of the US and Canada is available for $99.99.

The CASIO G’zOne Rock is available now for $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.

AdMob announces the launch of its new Interactive Video Ad Unit for iPhone, enabling consumers to browse Web sites, view additional videos, and more while the video is playing. The first ads will start running this week in select applications across AdMob’s iPhone ad network that reached more than 20 million unique iPhones and iPod touch devices worldwide in 2009.
