When we got an okay deal for a couple of those hot new Audiovox SMT 5600’s, we couldn’t resist picking a couple of them up from AT&T wireless! Of course, we’re going to spread the love by telling you everything you’ve ever wanted to know about this little powerhouse.

First Impression: 5/5 bars.

The first thing you notice when you pick up the Audiovox SMT 5600 is how tiny it is! It’s about the size of one of Sony Ericsson’s T610’s, with maybe a millimeter more in height. The screen is a very large 2.2”, noticeably bigger than the Motorola MPx220’s 2.0” screen. The screen is bright and clear, easily visible in direct sunlight.

The Audiovox SMT 5600 also came with:
• Instruction manuals
• SIM card
• Stereo headset with microphone (for media playback and phone calls )
• USB cable for connecting to your computer
• Power adaptor
• Microsoft ActiveSync and Outlook installation disc
• High quality belt holster

The phone charges via mini USB, and will charge when connected to a wall outlet or when connected to a powered USB port. The headset is sturdy and has decent sound quality.
