The T-Mobile Dash/HTC Excalibur is near perfect, but there's always room for improvements. I absolutely love this phone for its thinness, ergonomic design and layout of the QWERTY keyboard. The Cavalier will sport the same 320x240 screen, JOGGR for volume control on the T-Mobile version and scroll pad on the Excalibur.  The Cavalier will retain the 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi as well as GSM/GPRS/EDGE. It's getting a slightly larger battery of 1,050mAh (a jump from 960mAh), 400MHz Samsung processor (an increase from 200MHz OMAP), a 2-megapixel camera and 3G UMTS/HSDPA capabilities. Now that's one hell of smartphone for ya! I'm betting dollar for dollar that the Cavalier will give the iPhone a run for its money.  HTC is planning on launching the Cavalier sometime in January/February of 2007 (most likely announced at CES in Las Vegas).
