HTC is working on the new windows mobile device under the codename of Excalibur. Smartphonethoughts reported that the upcoming smartphone has the similar size as Samsung i320. It's only slightly thicker but 2 mm shorter. HTC has came out with an innovative idea by adding a touch strip at the right side of the screen. According to the report you can slide your finger up and down, just like a scroll bar. There are also 2 touch sensitive "button" at the top and bottom of the strip which will let you activate some functions directly.

The Excalibur is WiFi enabled, giving you the possibility of making VoIP calls through the WiFi HotSpot. HTC has not made any announcement on this quadband smartphone yet. No released date is available for now.
