The fast EVDO network will soon be supported by Blackberry 7130e. The long wait device was in rumor for quite some time and it now appear on Bell's website. No exact date is given but we can expect it very soon.
The BlackBerry 7130e works on the new 1xEV-DO (Evolution - Data Optimized) network from Bell. This dedicated data only network offers increased data speeds of up to 2.4 Mbps, and download speeds of 400 to 700 kbps in 1xEV-DO coverage areas. Outside of these areas it switches to the 1X network. This high-speed wireless data access offers unbeatable data speeds and better performance that improves the ability of businesses to stay connected while on the go. Specifications:
