Alltel is now offering the LG AX5000 wireless phone featuring a camera with built-in flash and speakerphone. The tri-mode phone features a color camera and digital zoom, speaker-independent voice recognition and also supports Axcess Mobile Web 2.0, Alltel's enhanced wireless Internet service that includes graphics, pictures and other useful tools.

"The LG AX5000 phone offers customers a stylish, compact camera phone with feature-rich applications at a very attractive price," said Wade McGill, vice president of wireless product management at Alltel.

The LG AX5000 costs $75 for a two-year service agreement and $135 for a one-year agreement.

With Axcess Mobile Web 2.0, customers can browse Web sites, send and receive email, play Web games and receive news, weather and sports alerts and directory information on their phones. Axcess Mobile Web can be added to any service plan for $5.99 per month.
