CIOL reported that Nokia plans to launch the new Communicator early next month. The Communicator 9300 is similar to it's bigger brother, the Communicator 9500 which was announced back in February and should hit stores some time next quarter.

The Nokia 9300 will be significantly lighter than the 9500 series, come with no camera and WiFi. However, we expect a large screen, EDGE and Bluetooth as well as a QWERTY keyboard. Also, it might have smaller memory than 9500 series

It is expected to be announced at the beginning of September, with an unsubsidized price of around $860.

I think the problem is with this price tag, will people choose HP iPAQ h6315 and Motorola mpx instead? Hopefully we can get more details about its specifications in September.
