Navigation would be the next big thing in cell phone industry.

After hitting alarm clock makers and camera manufacturers, navigation would be the next big thing in cell phone industry. Handset makers see navigation as one of the next major value-adding offerings, Reuters reported.

The annual market for phone navigation is predicted worth hundreds of millions of euros.

The world's top handset maker Nokia started to sell its first navigation phone N95 a month ago, and other top vendors are reported to follow shortly.

"I believe it will quickly go through almost the whole of our portfolio," Kai Oistamo, head of Nokia's Mobile Phones unit, told a recent news conference.

Got this phone last month, the bottom line of N95 is that it is really the next step in the evolution of today's computers: pocketable devices with the power to connect you to information, services, content and other people.

The most interesting feature of the N95 is the Maps application for more than 100 countries, enabling users to explore the world, find specific routes or locate services such as restaurants and hotels, as well as covering more than 15 million points of interest.

With its integrated GPS at your fingertips, finding your way just got easier -- this feature will really help you on your holiday travels or a business trip.
