Vertu will be launching two new variants for its Ascent range. The Vertu Ascent Motorsport Limited Edition will be available in the coming month to celebrate Vertu's participation in the Porsche Michelin Supercup. Only 997 phones will be manufactured and released globally. Vertu will also be revealing soon its new Ascent White Special Edition.

To celebrate Vertu's participation in the Porsche Michelin Supercup and Porsche Infineon Carrera Cup Asia Vertu has created the Ascent Motorsport Limited Edition. Crafted from Liquidmetal, an alloy stronger than titanium, each handset is inlayed with carbon fibre
as used on the Team Vertu Supercup car. The Bluetooth and triband engine is encased in shock mounted suspension, and the finest automotive leather has been tested specially for resistance to petrol.

This combination of craftsmanship, durability and performance enable the Ascent to withstand the ultimate test - being run over by Team Vertu's Porsche 997 GT3 Supercup race car itself. Only 997 individually numbered Ascent Motorsport Limited Edition handsets have been released for sale across the world. The result is a handset as unique as it is desirable.
