During a Macromedia press event in Taipei last week, they have actually presented the roadmap of flashlite availability for Nokia symbian devices. Nokia N80 amd N71 are included in the Q1 2006 roadmap. It means the new 2 models will be either out before Q1 2006 or Q1 2006? Nokia and Macromedia announced a licensing agreement in February this year that will integrate Macromedia Flash technology into Series 60 Platform. As part of the collaboration, Macromedia and Nokia will also provide integrated mobile development tool sets that will enable developers to more rapidly and efficiently create compelling Flash content for mobile devices, while leveraging their existing expertise and brand assets. In addition, the companies will also collaborate on technical documentation and other technical support areas.
According to the presentation, flashlite for Nokia S60 phone will be first available in the end of 2005. Nokia has also started to support Flash in its other software platforms and provide the SDK to all software developer.
