Sony Ericsson is announcing their next phone with a code name Emelie. Emelie is using A200 operating system, which has not been used in a low/mid-end model. The phone will have a 2 megapixel camera, 240 x 320 QVGA screen with 262k colors.

According to the source, Sony Ericsson has got a new D-pad design, see description below

"The D-pad looks quite funny and I don't think Sony Ericsson has used a design like this before. The navigation keys (up, down, left & right) are separated into four different keys and the action key in the middle has a joystick look to it with orange lights around it. There is an activity menu key on the front, but no other short cut keys here."

The phone will be sold at around 150 to 200 euro.
