New Sony Ericsson announcement is expected to be held very soon. While we are playing the waiting game, more rumors are being leaked as usual. pconline.com.cn posted a possible new release, which is another cybershot branded camera phone. No confirmed model name yet, but the site says it will be belongs to the k-series.

The new K-series cybershot phone from Sony Ericsson comes with a 5 megapixel camera. Although it does not equip with the Xenon flash, the camera is boosted with 2 flash light LED. A sliding protection cover is protecting the camera module. Other than the information on the camera module, the display screen will support 16M colors with QVGA resolution.

• it might be named K7xx or K8xx series, targetting at middle range pricing
• you have to open a screw-like switch to open the back cover
• secondary video call camera
• no joystick
