It was a rumour yesterday, but today it's the real deal. Sony Ericsson's new Z750 might look a whole lot like other clamshells they've previously offered, but the real sweetness is inside the glossy case. HSDPA, my beloved mobile broadband, will turn this dinky handset into a powerful tethered modem.

A mirrored front panel hides a vertical LCD panel, and there's a 2-megapixel camera, FM radio, 3D games, a media player, email (POP, IMAP push and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync) and even an RSS Reader.

With features like those it's set to blow the similarly HSDPA-blessed Samsung SGH-Z560 out of the water.
