Motorola and AT&T Wireless expand global wireless communications with the availability of three new quad-band mobile handsets - the Motorola V505, V220 and V180.
Merging multimedia, hands-free connectivity and personalization with the power of AT&T Wireless' mMode service, the Motorola V505, V220 and V180 offer 'must have' features including MP3 ringtones, photo caller ID, built-in speakerphone and Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS). The Motorola V505 and V220 bring mobile imaging to the next level with integrated cameras and video playback for viewing breaking news clips, media trailers or sports highlights. And finally, the model V505 delivers Bluetooth wireless technology for a seamless hands-free experience. "The Motorola V505, V220 and V180 provide in-demand features including global connectivity at a variety of price points," said James Burke, senior director of product operations for Motorola, Inc. "Now AT&T Wireless customers can roam the world without sacrificing style and price." "These phones take advantage of the global reach of GSM technology, giving our customers the ability to make voice calls in more than 150 countries and access information in more than 60 countries," said Ketan Kamdar, vice president - device development for AT&T Wireless. "We're beginning to make the world a smaller place." Additional features include Instant Messaging and downloadable capabilities for adding favorite games, screensavers, wallpapers and more. And the Motorola V505 is compatible with a variety of Bluetooth-enabled devices, including Motorola Wireless Headset HS810, allowing for seamless communications. The Motorola V180, V220 and V505 are all currently available from AT&T Wireless at suggested retail prices between $139.99 and $319.99, before mail-in rebates and instant activation credits."
