Here comes a better photo gallery since last week's leak on the MOTOROKR U9. The phone is said to be a Quad band GSM phone, blutooth and only able to do GPRS/EDGE connection.

The MOTOROKR U9 music phone has a clam shell body. Its phone design is derived from the Motorola PEBL, created with a smooth oval form. The upcoming MOTOROKR U9 has a body size of 90 x 48.6 x 16.4 mm body and 87.5 grams, has a QVGA TFT display screen which output 262k colors. You can only use the 25Mb built in memory, can be further expand with the microSD card. The 2 megapixel camera is built on top of the external OLED LCD screen, you are most likely not able to take photo when the clamshell is closed.

The MOTOROKR U9 is definitely a beautiful design, but being a multimedia phone without a 3.5mm headset jack is kind of a bad decision. No released date is available, but Motorola was promised to release some annoucements next month which might include some new phone announcements.
