Motorola and Sprint today announced the upcoming nationwide availability of the RED MOTORAZR V3m, a new wireless phone designed exclusively to support (RED), an initiative founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver to raise awareness and money for The Global Fund. The Global Fund is an innovative public-private partnership created to finance a dramatic turnaround in the fight against AIDS in Africa with an emphasis on women and children.
RED MOTORAZR handset includes five unique preloaded screen savers. Additional advanced features include a 1.3 megapixel digital camera with 4x digital zoom and video capture, playback and streaming, GPS enabled, Bluetooth wireless technology, speakerphone and a MicroSD memory card slot. The RED MOTORAZR as well as MOTOKRZR, MOTORAZR and MOTOSLVR are expected to be available from Sprint in early November. Packaged with a stylish red headset, the phone will cost $304.99 or $64.99 with a two-year agreement and a mail-in rebate. Both Motorola and Sprint will contribute directly to the fund with each RED MOTORAZR sold at Sprint. |
