This Christmas, Motorola is set to start selling "laser-etched tattooed" versions of the RAZR designed by master tattoo artist Ami James of the hit TV show "Miami Ink." I've seen a lot of phones in my days, so trust me when I tell you that the original RAZR isn’t all that great of a phone. That being said, it’s phenomenally popular, so popular it’s off the chart! Motorola released the RAZR in variety of models and colors including nontraditional pink, blue, and gold. So what’s next for the RAZR? Tattoo. Yep, the idea came out of a brainstorming sessions on how Motorola could extend the success of the ultra-slim RAZR.![]() This Christmas, Motorola is set to start selling "laser-etched tattooed" versions of the RAZR designed by master tattoo artist Ami James of the hit TV show "Miami Ink." There'll be a couple of designs available to choose from, and one of the first is the Chinese dragon pictured above. I was born in the year of the tiger; it’s mighty nice if I can submit my own design to Motorola for a small fee. Now that’s a true customized phone because in a matter days or weeks, others will have the same old boring design – who’d want that right?
