At the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show, Motorola today unveiled three new color flip phones. Leveraging the power of EVDO (Evolution for Data Only) and EDGE (Enhanced Data for Global Evolution) technologies, the new Motorola E815, V635 and V186 deliver the entertainment consumers want to their mobile device...bringing the "third screen" to life.

With the debut of these handsets, Motorola demonstrates its commitment to the continued deployment of 3G technology and the evolution of its EDGE portfolio – moving the desktop experience into the mobile world for wireless management of business, life and communications with unprecedented ease.

"Motorola takes consumers to the next level of mobile innovation, merging high-speed connectivity with rich entertainment," said James Burke, senior director of product operations for Motorola’s personal device business. "Whether choosing a handset for price, style or functionality, Motorola has a solution – advancing the mobile possibilities at work, at home and beyond."

Motorola E815

Designed to further on-the-go multimedia functionality, the EVDO powered Motorola E815 enables consumers to reach high speed on the device they always have with them. This sleek, fully packed handset delivers video-on-demand for replaying sports highlights and viewing of the latest music videos and access to news, weather reports and stock prices at faster data rates than non - EVDO products.

The model E815 also offers Bluetooth wireless technology, a 1.3 megapixel camera, video capture and playback and an integrated MP3 player. Extensive memory including 40 MB internally and room for TransFlash removable memory makes it possible to enjoy and store countless music and media files. And with speaker independent name and digit dialing fully integrated with Bluetooth, the consumer can now have true hands-free operation.

The Motorola E815, V635 and V186 are expected to be available in the first half of 2005. For more information regarding product availability in each region, please check with the local Motorola representative.
